For week 5, we focus on artist Richard Misrach and SJMA’s recent acquisition Untitled, from the series On the Beach, photographed by Misrach. For the podcast we spoke with gallery owner Robert Mann who represented Richard Misrach for over 20 years and even traveled with him several summers through the desert Southwest. In addition, we interviewed geologist, SJMA board member and Misrach collector, Peter Lipman who shares his personal insight on Misrach’s work.
