ASX.TV: Ai Weiwei – “In New York” (2010)

TateShots sees Ai Weiwei talking about the time he spent living in New York, when he took over 10,000 photographs. The film was shot and edited by the director Alison Klayman, who has spent the past two years capturing Ai Weiwei’s life for AI WEIWEI: NEVER SORRY, the first ever feature-length documentary film on China’s leading contemporary artist and most vocal dissident.

Ai Weiwei’s work ‘Sunflower Seeds’ can be seen in the turbine hall at Tate Modern until May 2011 and is part of The Unilever Series.
